It is funny how things work out, I have recently shown my work to a few artists that I respect and asked for their opinion. Every one seems to say the same thing “work on anatomy” and “draw as much as possible”. The universe must have been paying attention because a short time later a good friend of mine, Zach, from molecular chaos and I were having a interesting discussion about art and life. In an effort to get me going he gave me a brand new sketchbook and told me to fill it up. The following are some of the sketches so far. I have been trying to draw in it every day …

Icarus

Another idea that may find its way on to 100% cotton in the near future.
The story of Icarus is a very interesting one and many lessons can be taken from it. The main thing I take from it is to not be overconfident and listen to those who may have insight (based on experience or pure wisdom) into things that you may be undertaking… That and it is probably for the best that the aviation industry has moved away from the whole wax and feathers as building materials idea.

P.E.T.A. + twilight =V.E.T.H.

This is a kinda silly idea that will maybe make its way on to a shirt shortly with the upcoming 3rd installment of the the twilight series. For those of you who may not get the joke the vampires in this series (at least the ones you are meant to like) are “vegetarians” this doesn’t mean that they suck the color out of plants like bunnicula it means they choose not to eat humans based on a moral objection so they suck the blood of animals like bears, mountain lions and possums.
